A message from the Guest Editor: <\/strong>In recent years, the importance of “interdisciplinary research” has been widely discussed. What kinds of interdisciplinary projects are you engaged in? In this special issue, we have chosen planetary atmospheric research?particularly studies of the atmosphere of Venus?as a theme, with the aim of exploring how aerosol technology, which has long supported PM2.5 research, might develop in the future. For this issue, three researchers have contributed articles presenting the latest findings and research trends on aerosols in the Venusian atmosphere. We hope that, by showing how aerosol technology plays a key role even in such a different field as planetary atmospheres, this special issue will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the significance and potential of interdisciplinary research.
