Posted by

Participating journal: Aerosol and Air Quality Research

Open for submissions

Submission deadline 28 December 2026

This Topical Collection will provide an internationally relevant forum for rigorous, transferable, data-driven advances connecting aerosol science, air quality, and health. Representative topics include AI-enhanced aerosol measurements and instrumentation; data fusion and physics-informed learning; exposure assessment and health analytics; aerosol engineering and control; and predictive modeling of transboundary pollution and extreme events.

Although the Topical Collection is organized in connection with the JAAST Annual Meeting 2026 (Kanazawa University, Japan 26–28 August 2026), it will welcome contributions from the wider international community. The regional background of the organizing symposium and the purpose of the Topical Collection will be articulated in the Topical Collection Preface rather than in the title.
