今号の特集は，「燃焼灰・焼却残渣の有効利用と環境安全品質評価」です。
担当編集委員からひとこと：
本特集では、一般廃棄物焼却残渣、木質燃焼灰・バイオチャー、下水汚泥燃焼灰を対象に、それぞれの発生特性、有効利用の現状、環境安全品質評価、さらには高温付着性や肥料応用に向けた課題について、各分野の専門家に解説いただきました。燃焼灰や焼却残渣は、処分すべき副産物である一方、有用成分を含む循環資源としての可能性も有しています。本特集が、粉体工学、廃棄物処理、資源循環、環境安全性評価、そしてエアロゾル科学をつなぐ一助となれば幸いです。ぜひご一読ください。

Thank you very much for your continued support and contributions to the editorial activities of our journal. We are pleased to announce the publication of “Earozoru Kenkyu”, Volume 41, Issue 3, released on September 20. You are receiving your copies.
Special Feature:
“Effective Utilization and Environmental Safety Quality Evaluation of Combustion Ash and Incineration Residues”
In this special feature, experts in various fields discuss municipal solid waste incineration residues, wood ash and biochar, and sewage sludge combustion ash. The articles cover their generation characteristics, current status of effective utilization, environmental safety quality evaluation, and challenges related to high-temperature adhesion and fertilizer application. While combustion ash and incineration residues have often been regarded as byproducts to be disposed of, they also have potential as recyclable resources containing valuable components. We hope this special feature will help connect perspectives from powder technology, waste treatment, resource circulation, environmental safety assessment, and aerosol science. We invite you to read these contributions.
