大気バイオエアロゾルは、世界の研究者の注目を集め、国際会議でもセッションが普遍的に設けられるようになりました。我が国においても、関心を寄せる研究室や企業が増えております。地球大気圏を舞台に浮遊・活動している微生物は、多種多様であり、環境・健康にさまさまな影響を及ぼし、我々の生活と深く結び付いています。気候等との関わり、ヒトや動植物への悪影響、産業での利用、地球生態系進化との関わり、地球表層物質循環との関わりなど、課題も多岐に渡るようになっています。

Atmospheric Bioaerosols have garnered the attention of researchers worldwide, leading to the establishment of dedicated sessions at international conferences. In our country as well, there is a growing interest from research laboratories and companies. Microorganisms that float and are active in the Earth’s atmosphere are diverse and have various impacts on the environment and health, deeply interconnected with our daily lives. Issues related to climate, negative effects on humans, animals, and plants, industrial applications, the evolution of Earth’s ecosystems, and the circulation of surface materials on Earth are becoming increasingly complex.
In light of this background, the Bioaerosol Research Society will host the 17th Atmospheric Bioaerosol Symposium as detailed below. For more information, please refer to the attached documents (below).
