日本エアロゾル学会では、エアロゾル科学技術の分野で優れた若手個人会員(原則 40 歳以下の若手研究者)の国際研究集会・学会参加及び研究発表を支援します。日本エアロゾル学会はアジアエアロゾル研究連合(AARA)の構成員であり、アジアの研究者と交流を深めるのは大いに意義があると考えますので、今回は 14th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC) 2025(インド・ムンバイ、2025 年 12 月 1-4 日)を支援対象とします。JAAST is pleased to announce the 2025 Travel Award (JAAST-TA) to support outstanding young individual members (in principle, researchers under 40 years old) for participating in and presenting at international conferences held overseas.
募集要項
1.支援対象
エアロゾル科学技術に関する独創的・先駆的な研究活動を行っており、その成果を国際研究集会・学会で発表することを希望する若手個人会員(原則 40 歳以下の若手研究者)を対象とします。外国で開催されるエアロゾル科学技術関連の国際研究集会・学会に現地参加し、筆頭著者としての口頭発表が原則として確定している方を対象とします(注)。
2025 年は 14th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC) 2025(インド・ムンバイ、2025 年 12 月 1-4日)を支援対象とします。あわせて学会誌「エアロゾル研究」への報告の執筆を条件とします。なお、現地で開催される AARA のボードミーティングに国際交流担当理事とともに参加を依頼する場合もあります。
注)口頭発表に申し込んだが学会側の都合でポスター発表になった場合も支援対象とします。
2.応募制限
他の助成金と重複応募する場合は、それについて記してください。なお、助成金は国際研究集会・学会への参加を目的として応募者個人に支給されます。応募者の所属する機関に寄付金名目で振り込むなどの目的に反する支給はできません。

2025 年 9 月 5 日(金)必着 ⇒ 9 月 23日（火）必着
AAC2025 のアブストラクト採択は 2025 年 8 月 31 日 ⇒ 9月15日頃、早期割引締切は 8 月 31日 ⇒ 9月25日(一般 USD450(約 65,000 円))です。詳細は AAC2025 のウェブサイト(https://aacindia2025.in/)で確認してください。
4.応募方法
応募者の氏名、所属、連絡先(電話番号、E-mail)、会員種別を記入し、必要書類を添付して、期日までに日本エアロゾル学会事務局(jaast-post (@) as.bunken.co.jp)宛に電子メールにて提出して下さい。E-mail に添付する電子ファイル書類はすべて PDF 形式としてください。なお、E-mail の件名には「JAAST-TA 応募(所属・氏名)」と明記のこと。
5.必要書類
- 1) 参加する国際研究集会名(今回は 14th Asia Aerosol Conference 2025)
- 2) 口頭発表申し込み画面(スクリーンショットなど)と、発表受理を証する文書の写し(E-mail のコピーでも可)
- 3) 発表論文タイトル、氏名の記載されたプログラムと受理された Abstract のコピー(PDF)
- 4) 必要経費の概算(航空運賃、宿泊費、学会参加費など)
航空券及び宿舎は安全に配慮しつつ、なるべく安いところを選ぶこと。 見積書は必要ないが、概算の根拠(参照ウェブページのコピーなど)を記すこと。他の助成金や援助と併用する場合には、それについても記すこと。 - 5) 学会終了後、現地で参加したことを証明する書類を提出すること(学会が発行する参加証明書、参加者の氏名の書いたネームプレート、発表時の写真など)
6.助成対象の経費
外国で開催される国際研究集会・学会に参加し研究発表するために必要な費用の一部として上限 20 万円を支給します。振込先口座は原則的に応募者本人の日本国内の口座とします。
7.採択通知
日本エアロゾル学会常任理事会において候補者(若干名)を決定し、2025 年 9 月 30 日⇒ 10月上旬をめどに応募者へ直接連絡します。
8.成果報告について
国際研究集会後に、応募者が発表したセッションまたは関連セッションの紹介記事を「エアロゾル研究」の行事報告などに執筆して頂きます。詳細は、採択通知の際に併せて連絡します。

As a member of the Asian Aerosol Research Assembly (AARA), JAAST values active exchange with researchers in Asia. For the 2025 award, support will be provided for participation in the 14th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC2025), to be held in Mumbai, India, from December 1–4, 2025.
Application Guidelines
1. Eligibility
Applicants must be young individual JAAST members (in principle, under 40 years old) conducting original and pioneering research in the field of aerosol science and technology, and planning to present their work at an international conference. Priority is given to those who will attend in person and give an oral presentation as the first author (see Note below).
For 2025, the award specifically targets the 14th Asian Aerosol Conference (AAC2025). Recipients are also required to submit a report to the journal Journal of Aerosol Research. Additionally, awardees may be asked to attend the AARA Board Meeting on-site together with the JAAST Board Member in charge of international exchange.
Note: If an oral presentation application is changed to a poster presentation due to the conference organizer’s decision, the applicant remains eligible for support.
2. Restrictions
If you are applying for or receiving other grants, please indicate so clearly. The JAAST Travel Award is provided to the individual applicant for the sole purpose of attending the designated international conference. The award cannot be transferred or used as a donation to the applicant’s institution.
3. Application Deadline
Must arrive by Friday, September 23, 2025.
Abstract acceptance notification from AAC2025 is expected on/around Sept. 15, 2025, and the early registration deadline is also Sept. 15 Sept. 25 (general registration: USD 450, approximately JPY 65,000). Please refer to the official website for details: https://aacindia2025.in
4. Application Method
Send an email to the JAAST Secretariat (jaast-post (@) as.bunken.co.jp) with the following information:
- Applicant’s name, affiliation, contact details (phone number, email), and JAAST membership type.
- Attach all required documents in PDF format.
- In the subject line of the email, include: “JAAST-TA Application (Affiliation / Name)”
5. Required Documents
- Name of the international conference to attend (this time: 14th Asian Aerosol Conference 2025)
- Screenshot of the oral presentation submission page and a copy of the presentation acceptance notice (email copy acceptable)
- Copy (PDF) of the abstract and conference program showing the title and presenter’s name
- Estimated budget (airfare, accommodation, conference registration, etc.)
- Choose economical and safe options. No need for official quotes, but include reasoning (e.g., screenshots or URLs of reference sites).
- If using other funding sources, provide details.
- Proof of on-site participation after the conference (e.g., participation certificate issued by the conference, name badge with your name, photo during presentation, etc.)
6. Supported Expenses
Up to JPY 200,000 will be provided to cover part of the costs necessary to attend and present at the international conference. Funds will be transferred to the applicant’s personal Japanese bank account.
7. Notification of Selection
The JAAST Board will select several recipients and notify them directly by the first week of October, 2025.
8. Reporting Requirements
After the international conference, the awardee is required to write a report introducing the session they presented in (or a related session) for the Journal of Aerosol Research. Details will be provided upon selection.
