今号の特集は，「惑星大気エアロゾル研究の現状と課題」です。

担当編集委員からひとこと：

近年、「学際研究」の重要性が盛んに語られていますが、みなさんはどのような学際的研究に取り組んでいるでしょうか？本特集号では、これまでPM2.5研究を支えてきたエアロゾルテクノロジーが、今後どのような展開を見せるかを探るきっかけとして、惑星大気研究（特に金星大気）をテーマに取り上げました。今回は、3名の研究者の方々に、金星大気中のエアロゾルに関する最新の知見や研究動向についてご執筆いただいています。惑星大気という異なるフィールドにおいても、エアロゾルテクノロジーが重要な役割を果たしていることを感じていただき、学際的な研究の意義や可能性を考える契機として、本特集号をお読みいただければ幸いです。

Special Feature:
“Recent Advances and Challenges in Planetary Atmospheric Aerosol Research”

A message from the Guest Editor: In recent years, the importance of “interdisciplinary research” has been widely discussed. What kinds of interdisciplinary projects are you engaged in? In this special issue, we have chosen planetary atmospheric research?particularly studies of the atmosphere of Venus?as a theme, with the aim of exploring how aerosol technology, which has long supported PM2.5 research, might develop in the future. For this issue, three researchers have contributed articles presenting the latest findings and research trends on aerosols in the Venusian atmosphere. We hope that, by showing how aerosol technology plays a key role even in such a different field as planetary atmospheres, this special issue will serve as an opportunity to reflect on the significance and potential of interdisciplinary research.
